Step 3: Setup where your files are and start serving.

Once you sign in, you will be greeted by the main program screen.

First click on the "Select" button and select the root folder where your mp3s are stored on your computer (this folder can include many other folders with mp3 files).

FAQ:

Why is this service free?
The files are actually served from your computer to your browser, the data is sent directly, so you are using the connection you already paid for.

Is this program safe? Why do I need to go to mymusicathome.com rather than directly to my ip?
We generate a new random token every time you start serving music for your safety. This random token acts like a lock and key protecting your files and privacy. Without the key your computer will not serve any files. The program is also setup to only serve mp3 files, so any other files or folders are never exposed.

How is the performance using an iPhone/Ipad using 3G?
It really depends on your provider and the signal quality. Because this software doesn't alter the original files when it serves them sending them in full quality, drop outs and waits between songs can be a problem. It's recommended you enable Wi-Fi whenever possible on these devices.

I click on Start Serving and it's not working after I tried signing in from the website?
Usually this indicates a problem with your open ports. If you are behind a router make sure you are forwarding the correct port to your computer. Please refer to your router manual for more information.

I'm getting lots of dropouts, when playing music?
This software serves your mp3s in full quality, if you are getting lots of dropouts it most likely means either the server or the client connection is too slow.
